Let There Be ‘Harmonious’ Conversation On Why 100% Reservation For Brahmins In Temple

There is no denying that Brahmins have opposed reservation for SC/ST/OBCs from the beginning. Now, even after getting a 10% reservation under EWS reservation despite their population being 3%, Brahmins have not stopped opposing reservation for SC/ST/OBCs.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, showing his hatred against Dalits once again, said on Sunday that there should be conversation in harmonious atmosphere between those in favour of reservation and those against it.

Earlier Mohan Bhagwat had suggested setting up of an “apolitical committee” to examine the need of reservation. The catchword here is “apolitical committee”, there is no “apolitical committee” in India. His definition of “apolitical committee” is Sanghis operating from Nagpur HQ.

RSS after killing 1000s on the name of different issues wants ‘harmonious’ conversation on the reservation. Well, Dalit-Bahujans always had a “harmonious” conversation on all the issues, it’s RSS that is involved in killing those who disagree with its shitty ideology.

While we are here discussing, there is also a need for ‘harmonious’ conversation on the removal of 100% reservation that is enjoyed by Brahmins in temples.

Why should 3% Brahmins have control over the rest of the Hindus and enjoy 100% seats in temples?

Let there be ‘harmonious’ conversation also on why there are castes in the first place? Let there be ‘harmonious’ conversation on why millions of SC/ST/OBCs seats are unfilled? Let there be ‘harmonious’ conversation on why there should be a caste census in 2021. After denying Dalits-Bahujans their rights RSS is expecting harmonious conversation.

We understand that harmonious conversation is just a sweet talk before snakes sitting at RSS headquarters would show their real fangs. Brahmin men’s gang controls RSS and it has been always against reservations for Dalits, indigenous community and backward classes.

On one place, RSS want Dalits to be considered as Hindus but then deny those Dalits benefits of reservation policy. They just want Dalits to be the slave and at their feet, serving them. “RSS is not a Hindu Organization,  if it would have been a Hindu Organization would it have opposed representation of 80% Hindus”?

Since coming to power RSS/BJP government has focused on making a reservation for Dalit-Bahujans ineffective. From privatization to bringing EWS reservation and selling government companies to bringing the lateral entry scheme are attempts by RSS/BJP to deny SC/ST/OBCs their share. If governments of India are interested in privatization, the new owner should be made responsible for fulfilling the reservation guidelines.  [Read also – Killing Democracy in India Through Lateral Entry Into Civil Services]

If we consider already the reality of reservation in India, it paints nothing but a bleak picture. Most of the jobs in India are already private or in unorganized sector where reservation policy is not applicable.

The Reality of Reservation in India

From denying SC/ST/OBCs reservation in promotion to diluting SC/ST Act, RSS/BJP has never hidden its agenda. It’s Dalit-Bahujans who need to understand the real face of RSS/BJP and fight against the oppression. Dalit-Bahujans, in fact, should demand aggressively reservation in private sector.

Why the private sector can’t have a reservation? When they get billions in loan at 0%, get 1000s of other subsidies, and exploit public resources why shouldn’t they be made responsible for social justice?

Coming back to the question of why there is a 100% reservation for Brahmins in Hindu temples?

reservation for brahmins in temples

Why any idiot son of Brahmin can become a priest of any temple he likes but an educated Dalit can’t become a priest of the Hindu temple? Don’t remind us of the stray incidents where Dalits have been given priest seats.

Brahmins know now that Dalits are getting awakened and rejecting temples so all these tricks to keep Dalits in the grip of Brahminism. Who wants to go to temples to worship? Not Dalits. So, why raise a question over the 100% reservation for Brahmins? Simply because it is more about our rights rather than actually becoming a priest of Hindu temple. Temple entry won’t make us equal but it’s a fight for equality. [Read also – Priesthood Should Be Based On Qualification, Not Heredity – Dr Ambedkar]

Caste Based Reservation in India started in 2nd Century BC. In Manusmriti – the law book of Brahmins all the laws were based on Caste and no Merit was ever considered.

It divided people into High and Low Castes on the basis of their birth and not on the basis of Merit. Wealth, political power, spiritual leadership, education, ownership of land, trade and all lucrative aspects were reserved purely to the Brahmins.

It is high time that 100% reservation enjoyed by Brahmins for centuries should be discussed in public and plan to end such reservation be brought forward. Not only in temples, these so-called upper castes, mainly Brahmins, enjoy 100% reservation in paid seats as well, which no one questions.

Why should 3% Brahmins control all the temples, why 97% of other Hindus be denied of their rights at the cost of 3% Brahmins? Brahminism is probably the only religion in the world that denies most of its followers even the entry to its religious places. Brahmanism is the only religion that prohibits almost 85% of its followers from reading its scriptures or worshipping its Gods! Tell us, oh Brahmins! When was the last time you worked to earn your living? Till when you will live on begging sitting inside the temples? Why can’t you work?

Oh, Brahmins! Tell us, how big is your potbelly that hasn’t filled from the last 2000 years of sitting idle and begging at temples?

For centuries, sitting inside temples, earning millions by fooling innocent people have been the main business for the Brahmins. For how long this exploitation should continue? Why there is no ‘harmonious’ discussion on the need to end such an exploitative system?

Sitting in temples and begging for money since 1000s of years is the hardest job anyone has ever done that many states as well centre governments are offering free insurance to Brahmin priests. Why don’t Brahmin nominate Brahmins begging in temples for some kind of Nobel prize for sitting idle the longest time in the history of the world?

Why the only requirement of being a priest at Brahminical temples is being born in a Brahmin family? Let there be ‘harmonious’ conversation on it.

Actually, there should be the ‘harmonious’ conversation of over-representation of so-called upper castes in media to the judiciary to almost all the sectors in India. Is Brahminical India ready for that?

change the nature of temples. use them as places of learning and community activity. Not mouthing some irrelevant mantras.

they will never be ready. infact they are attempting to consolidate their position. In the process they are uniting the oppressed for a stronger struggle to overthrow the oppressive strangle hold social, economical and political. We have to do a lot of work understanding and accommodating each other and promoting the vision of a new society.

Temples are shrine of hatred. Why do you want to become priest there? Better learn to hate the pillars of hatred and ignominy.
    Temple breeds immorality.
Temples gives birth of discrimination. Temple shelters and germinates crimes against humanity.

    Learn to hate it.
