Jai Bheem App – App to Amplify The War Cry of Jai Bheem

The right and power to express are critical for any group of people and it is essential for the communities that are treated less than human beings. Their voice is silenced by the social structures and they are rendered voiceless. This is the reason Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar named his first mouthpiece as the Leader of the Voiceless (Mook Nayak). [Now, you can download the Jai Bhim app from Google Play Store here.]

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar considered the media as an instrument of creating public opinion and hence essential for creating moral public order. He was advocating with the then government to provide subsidized support to the scheduled castes so that they can create public opinion. He planned to set up a “cultural wing” in the proposed Social Centre in Mumbai. That was the time of print media. Due to technological advancements, media like electronic media came into being. Both print media and electronic media pose entry barriers to Bahujans.

The new media based on the internet is offering a unique opportunity to give expressions to the creativity exploding among the Ambedkarites and Buddhists. The field of entertainment, music, and sports offers unlimited grounds to show the confidence and creativity of the community and it helps to make the culture (the culture of community, compassion, commitment, endurance, and never-say-die attitude which is the lifeblood of the Ambedkarites and Buddhists) a national culture contributing to making our country more humane and democratic. The Blacks in America became media, cultural, sport, and entertainment icons inspiring people from all over, thus they played an important role in blunting the sharp edges of racism.

In India, the creative and celebrated icons, particularly directors like Pa Ranjith, have made the culture of Ambedkarites the themelines of their cinemas and are challenging the prejudiced consciousness. That the enlightened culture and its expression appeals to the humanistic nature of human beings is proved by the cinematic expression of movies produced by socially-minded artists.

The Ambedkarites all over are infused with culture and that culture is not just protesting culture but also a deeply humane, compassionate, and wise culture. However, it needs a platform and media to express and launch itself.

In this era of social media and the possibility of the direct delivery of content, competent professional people like Girish Wankhede from Infotainment and entertainment field have conceived the path-breaking idea of developing a platform for short videos which can be directly and easily loaded on the Jai Bheem App and will be instantaneously shared with millions with a click. This interesting project is blessed by the wisdom and guidance of socially-minded public servant, Dr. Harshdeep Kamble, who envisions a generation of creative artists who will contribute to making our country more just, equal, free, and democratic.

The essential goal is to bring together millions and millions together so that they can be connected through this social platform. This social networking among people from all over India and abroad will open up a broad field for developing connections which will spill over other important areas particularly businesses and entrepreneurial endeavors. The social capital, the transactional trust, is the necessary condition for the community to succeed in the business arena.

May we develop a pool of artists, entrepreneurs, and Entertainment Fund through this!

The Jai Bheem App will be open to download on the very auspicious day of 26 January when in 1950 on this very day we became a people’s republic. Download Jai Bheem App for not only paying tribute to our nation but also to express your creativity…
