After Ordering Demolition Of Ravidas Temple (Delhi), Supreme Court Threatening Dalits Like A Gangster

A few days ago, the Supreme court of India had ordered demolition of Guru Ravidas temple in Delhi and DDA carried out that order to destroy historical place for millions of Dalits.

The standing permanent structure of Guru Ravidas temple in Tughlaqabad was dismantled by DDA after which protests across India, especially Punjab and Delhi, had erupted.

On Tuesday, 13 August, while Dalits across India were protesting against the demolition, the supreme court threatened Dalits saying,

“Don’t speak a word and don’t aggravate the issue. You are in for contempt. We will haul up your entire management. We will see what has to be done,” the bench also comprising Justices M R Shah and Ajay Rastogi said while requesting Attorney General K K Venugopal to assist in the matter.

Such is the language of a Brahminical court, not a gangster or mafia threatening some people but so-called supreme court which is supposed to deliver justice! The language of the court is worse than gangsters.

Supreme court further said,

“You cannot go on and on and make comments and criticism of the judgement. This is the Supreme Court. Don’t invoke politics here.”

What is contempt of court in questioning the decision? There is no place of dissent and this is what Hindutva forces have been doing since coming to power.

There are 1000s of cases in which various courts around the world make the wrong decision and later overturn those but Brahminical courts can’t accept criticism for their shitty judgments!

‘Contempt of court’ is undemocratic and bars critical thinking and is an irrational argument which is to protect corrupt judges only. Sooner we get rid of it better for the country.

After killings 1000s of people in the name of King Rama (nobody knows whether he existed or not) temple in Ayodhya and politicizing the issue for more than 3 decades, they want to tell us to forget about your historical figures and don’t politicise the issue.

We say go ahead and try to arrest millions of Dalits protesting on the streets of Punjab and then face consequences.

Before election Modi and co. had visited Guru Ravidas temple in Varanasi and tweeted on Guru Ravidas Jayanti but then no words from BJP/RSS government on the demolition of Guru Ravidas temple in Delhi. They want to use Dalits for politics and get votes and at the same time destroy Dalit history.

Appropriation of Dalit history and icons is part of the agenda for Brahminical forces.

There are millions of temples in India which are built on illegal land. Every nook and corner some Hindu God temple is built by these Hindutva forces but Guru Ravidas temple is hurting them.

There are 1000s of other temples which are barriers to public safety and in dangerous condition are not demolished but Ravidas temple which stands against the ideology of Hindu Rashtra is demolished.

Guru Ravidas’s teachings are against the Brahminical ideology hence the demolition of the temple was carried out.

Anti-Muslim, Anti-Dalit Courts

Such judgements and words from courts clearly show caste discrimination practised inside the court-rooms. On 14 August, a day before Independence day, another court in Rajasthan acquited all the murderers of Pehlu Khan, who was lynched by a mob a few years ago.

Judgement on Pehlu Khan‘s case reminds on the eve of Independence Day that such independence is fake and Dalits and minority communities in India can never expect justice from Brahminical courts. Despite video proof, how can court acquit all the murderers?

When Rajasthan High Court has a statue of Manu on its premises, you’re naive to expect justice from any Brahminical courts. They worship Manu and utter judgments based on Manusmriti to fulfil “collective conscience of society” (remember hanging of Afzal Guru?).

Such Independence should be observed as ‘Black Independence’, a country in which you’re threatened by courts and judgements are always anti-Dalit and anti-minority.

Pl remove this article for Criticizing Hon. Supreme Court of India judgement.

Criticizing wont help anyone. We need to study the judgement, basis of illegality & apply the same conditions for rest of the illegal temples across india. All the illegal temples across India must also need to be bulldozed by the same logic & right to equality before law. No point in aggravating the situation further. Study law, apply the same PIL’s procedure & use the same law against all illegal temple’s across India to their their response to such petitions
