Stop Dragging Dalits Into Brahminical Temples
Brahminism is the poison which has spoiled Hinduism. You will succeed in saving Hinduism if you will kill Brahminism. – Dr B R Ambedkar, Annihilation of Caste
On 17th April 2018, a priest in Hyderabad carried a Dalit man on his shoulders into a temple and hugged him. Brahminical media made a huge news but do Dalits really want to go to temples? Does it make any sense for Dalits to visit Brahminical temples? Temple entry won’t make us equals, said Dr Ambedkar.
When Dalits have awakened and stopped going to temples and donating to Brahmins, these Brahmins are forcefully taking Dalits to temples lifting Dalits on their shoulders. Such cheap tactics won’t work anymore, we have been awakened by Babasaheb.
Attempts to take Dalits to temples is more like a damage control measure which Brahminical organisations have devised to keep Dalits within their fold.
Who wants to go to temples controlled and owned by Brahmins?
Going to Brahminical temples wouldn’t solve any of our problems, rather it increases as money we donate there is utilised by BJP/RSS/VHP and various other Hindutva organisations to fund their activities against us.
When Dr Ambedkar struggled for the temple entry at Kalaram temple in Nasik, he didn’t want to go there to worship but his struggle was for the human rights.
We should have right to visit to any public place we want to was the argument of Dr Ambedkar, he never intended that Dalits keep on going to temples and donating and wasting their lives in the hands of Brahminical godmen!
Once in a while taking Dalits inside the temple and throughout the year beating, killing them, denying them their human rights wouldn’t lead to any change in the society.
If so-called upper castes really want to see any change they must work in their own communities and educate them about the caste realities and ask them no to practice caste system.
Not only that, they must reject Brahminical scriptures and deny their authority, as Dr Ambedkar said, to see any ray of hope for Dalits’ betterment.
Brahmins enjoy 100% reservation in temple priests, even an uneducated, illiterate, dumb son of a Brahmin is eligible to become a priest but highly educated Dalit can’t become. Why? Because – caste matters.
This is the reason by Dr Ambedkar had asked that priesthood should be based on qualification not hereditary.
Until it is not done, mere acts of taking Dalit inside the temple is just show-off and it would be wise for us simply not go to Brahminical temples.
The best thing that Dalits can do is STOP donating at the Brahmin temples. Money collected there is used against Dalits-Muslims. If Dalit-Bahujans stop donating at Brahmin temples, their hateful campaigns against us would choke to death. Take the pledge not to donate.
I am angry at those people who keep on donating at Brahminical temples when the same money is used against Dalits and minority communities.
After throwing Dalits out of educational institutions and workplaces by not implementing reservation, these Brahmins want to drag Dalits to temples, which Dalits have rejected.
We demand Dalits be given control of money in the temples and if Brahmins want to keep on worshipping then they can but money management should be handed over to Dalits.

As you mentioned in the content that the money donated in temples are used by the hindutva organisations like BJP/RSS/VHP. Can you please mention the source for this claim?
Thanks in advance!
