There are many reports coming in from different parts of North India that the administration and the upper caste hooligans are jointly combing the people and terrorising the peaceful demonstrators of 2nd April 2018 Bharat Band. Just before sometime, I received a frantic call from people in Rupbas Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the state of Rajasthan. Never in the history of this place, the Dalits demonstrated, but after the Atrocity Act was diluted by the Supreme Court, people from Rupbas district mobilised each other to have a peaceful demonstration. The demonstration was such a success that even the administration praised the organisers claiming that it was the peaceful event.

After the end of the demonstration and submission of the petition to the state officials, the people were returning back to their respective villages. As they were returning back, they were attacked by the activists of the Bajarang Dal and BJP Yuva Morcha. The women were molested and many peaceful demonstrators were beaten up. One Goyal from the BJP opened fire on the innocent people. Since then, the Dalits of some of the villages are finding it difficult to live there on localities.

The situation is very grave in a village called Shrinagar where 2500 Dalits are forced to stay confined to their homes and localities and the casteist goons are parading all over the places. The state government has even sent the paramilitary forces, but the state machinery, instead of protecting the Dalits, is behaving as if it has handed in glove with the casteists upper castes in this area. The Dalits are sent to the jail without any violation of law: their only fault is that they came on the streets in support of their fundamental human rights. The nexus of state and the upper castes is, however, making their life difficult.

The state-sponsored terrorism is likely to unleashed on the Dalits and a situation is being created when the casteist goons will have a free run to attack the Dalits with the backing of the state.

I request all of you to forward this message as far as one can and also try to expose the Hitlerian and Casteist design of India’s state and the caste Hindus. I am just sharing the situation in one village of Rajasthan, but right now, there are thousands of village terrorised and encircled by the state and caste Hindus. This is a direct plea from the people holed up in the village of Shrinagar that we spread the awareness about the situation and that the state machinery and the caste Hindus can unleash terror on them anytime if the situation is shared and watchful gaze of the people is not set on the situation.
