Jabbar Patel directed the English-language movie (also dubbed in Hindi and other Indian languages) Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar about the life of Ambedkar. It was released in 2000, starring the Indian actor Mammootty as Ambedkar. Sponsored by India’s National Film Development Corporation and the Ministry of Social Justice, the film was released after a long and controversial gestation period. Mammootty won the National Film Award for Best Actor for the role of Ambedkar, which he portrayed in this film.

Today , 6th December 2012 being Ambedkar’s Death Anniversary ,I watched the Movie “Ambedkar” telecast on TV but due to power cut could not watch the full movie . Luckily I found this site that has links to download the movie .Many thanks for the same .I really admire and appreciate the work you are doing in Educating people on the life and work of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar .
