India from its geological existence has witnessed war and truce to and fro on the name of religion and caste. Today’s Indian state is based upon laws and regulations, rights and duties established in the constitution.

This law of the land existed till today not because the lawmakers wanted it to be,  but due to the civil rights activists and liberal people who are educated not only by letter but also by the spirit and also due to the common citizens of the country who want to live in a peaceful society.

The preamble of our constitution itself is the heart and soul of the constitution-makers and the vision they saw for the country’s future. On one side, a new narrative of ‘New India’ is running in the whole country whereas, on the other, civil rights activists like Dr. Narendra Dabholkar, Gauri Lankesh, Govind Pansare, Kalburgi are thrashed to death.

Students union are compelled to shut their mouth on the authoritarian regime, professionals and students like Dr. Payal Tadvi and Rohit Vemulla are compelled to suicide, cow vigilantism is taking toll of life, radicalism and polarization of the society are escalating day by day like slow poison.

In ‘New India’, we have got education minister who trusts on astrology more than scientific study, we have got Prime Minister who thinks that climate change is not actually the problem but the incapacity of humans to suffer from heat due to ageing is the problem, who was accused in Gujarat riots in 2002 and later got clean chit from SIT.

We have Home Minister who was accused in several fake encounters and also in the murder of HC Judge Loya. The constant attack on the scientific temper is not due to illiteracy but to make people think in “unscientific and manusmriti manner” which is the basic need to continue their regime and install a “majoritarian and Hindu Rashtra” sidelining secular India.

The ideologue of nationalism is intentionally mixed with religious identity to sideline minorities and drive away from the attention of citizens from the mainstream day to day issues. The mainstream media is every day pouring propaganda on the minds of people as it did in 2014 (which got carefully boosted by Anna Andolan) and convincing (actually deceiving) the people that “we are better than them and there is no option to you other than us”. The citizenship amendment bill is way similar to nation-state bill of Israel.

Everyone knows that how the right-wing is oppressing the liberals and democratic principles by generating debate on pseudo nationalism in the same way that is going on India these days. The Kashmir policy of the ruling parties has failed miserably as more and more youngsters are standing against their own country just because of the use of severe military power on them and religious prejudices. The political parties have failed to guess the mind of youth.

The USA is watching silently and cautiously these movements in the subcontinent and eager to take advantage of this situation in the trade as well as harming the economy as well as creating national security issues in the subcontinent and IOR. The current ruling party is getting full support from the Indian citizens residing in the USA because they are experiencing how white supremacy operates in the USA and wants the same for themselves (codified into law) in India under a Hindu supremacist state.
