From Hashimpura to Kashi Vishwanath – State Policing Serving the Brahminical Hindutva
Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) was named in the killings of 42 Muslim youths 31 years ago is the case of how the Right wing Hindutva brigade used the policing machinery to kill the citizens of India of Muslim faith. Recently, a diary that contained the names of the people involved in the massacre is submitted. The accused were acquitted due to lack of evidence when all the circumstantial and substantial pieces of evidence showed what exactly happened to the 42 Muslim youths. The state-sponsored terrorism is not unique to UP, but it was carried out in Gujarat and Modi was banned by many nations. If the state is sponsoring terrorism on the behalf of the right-wing groups, then that state is anti-national.

In Maharashtra, the RSS/BJP government is out to give clear cheat to Bhide without investigating the charges. The Chief Minister, Fadanvis, is claiming that there is no evidence against Bhide. How does he know before the investigation?
The worst kind of tinkering with the policing came in the regime of Adityanath, who is on the killing rampage in the name of encounters. How can the encounters be legal in the country which bars depriving any human life without procedure established by law? In the Kashi Vishwanath temple, the police are asked to wear Kurta and Pyjama in the temple, because the devotees do not like the uniformed police in the sacred temple. The change in the dress code and asking the police to wear civilian clothes is the tampering of the police codes and it is against the secularism in India.
Either the temple should not allow policing and have their own security or let the police do their job according to the law. The police force cannot be brought in the service of the temple.
