How RSS/BJP is Hijacking Revival of Buddhist Movement
Before the last assembly election in UP, the RSS/BJP commanded an army of the Buddhist monks and entrusted them with vehicles and money to scout the state of UP and interact with the followers of Babasaheb Ambedkar and “inform” them that the RSS/BJP is trying to take the legacy of Babasaheb Ambedkar further and his revival of Buddhist movement forward.
The organization that organized this was Akhil Bhartiya Bhikkhu Mahasangha. The organization was led by Dhamma Viriyo, who conducted “Dhamma Chetana Yatra” for six months throughout UP.
Dhamma Viriyo is no more, and the RSS/BJP organized a program together to express their thanks to Dhamma Viriyo and Akhil Bhartiya Bhikkhu Mahasangha for ensuring the stunning victory of the BJP in the last elections in UP.
The RSS/BJP claims that Dhamma Viriyo toured extensively and convinced the Dalits in UP that RSS/BJP is really doing great work for the followers of Babasaheb Ambedkar. They claim that this is how they have eaten into the base of the BSP which is the claimant of the legacy of Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Even the president of the BJP, Amit Shah, addressed meetings in the rally. There were also reports that the Dalits opposed these rallies in several places in the state of UP leading to skirmishes.
It is interesting to see how the RSS/BJP is using different tactics to lure the Dalits in their fold by any means.
It can also mean to use the radical conversion of Babasaheb Ambedkar to get votes for the BJP. We do not know whether these rallies had any effect, we can, however, say that there is so much to understand and learn the moves of the RSS/BJP.
The BSP, though it claims that it is committed to taking the legacy of Babasaheb Ambedkar ahead, had done nothing to start mass conversion movement throughout India.
The conversion movement is as much a political movement as it is a spiritual movement in the Indian context. It ensures a break from the caste-infested Hinduism.
If the deprived and discriminated can come out of the Hindu fold, it will ensure their total emancipation.
The BSP did next to nothing to launch the counter action against the RSS/BJP move to make people feel that it is serious about the overall program of the emancipation of Babasaheb Ambedkar.
The RSS/BJP also handpicked the Dalits like Ramdas Athavale and Udit Raj to lead the thanking program yesterday in UP which involved paying rich tribute to Dhamma Viriyo.
In these meetings, Athavale has been becoming His Master’s Voice claiming that RSS/BJP is committed to the movement of Babasaheb Ambedkar.

From what ever I have observed BJP/RSS is like a fast moving train one does not know who all be hurt on its fast track.
BSP has one leg in grave and another outside the grave. So I have No expectation.May be a miracle might change things for BSP lot.
DR.Udit Raj and Ram Das Athwale they have joined “Sanghiies”, what do you expect out of them. It won’t be too far fetch to say they are conniving with the enemies of Dr.Ambedkar.Ambedkar’s teaching are true antidote for RSS/BJP and Brahamanism but RSS has played a new trick of making Dr.Ambedkar as one of their “AWATAR ;like they did to Lord Buddha, of course men like Udir Raj and Athwale are the pons in the hand of RSS/BJP. They get nice perks, forget DR.Ambedkar and his caravan.
