Mother Teresa – It’s Bitter But It’s True
If you judge people, you have no time to love them. – Mother Teresa
Ok, as we have quoted Mother Teresa in the beginning now it is a time to judge her and her work!
Mother Teresa didn’t come in India just to serve the poor, no need to tell lies in the name of secularism; she came to preach Christianity from Europe. Social work was the way for her. Her Goal was “CONVERSION” as many says. It was her mission, but she failed to achieve that goal. Let’s see the stats and decide whether the conversion was really the only motive of Mother Teresa?
According to 2011 census, the Christian population of West Bengal was 7.58%. Same was in 1951; apart from Tribals of Darjeeling and Siliguri, Bengal has only 500000 Christians. First Church was built in 1599 in this state. It’s been 400 long years and millions of priests and nuns remained unmarried and did their efforts to convert the people of Bengal.
Christian population of West Bengal (in %) kept on decreasing year after year –
1951 – 0.70
1961 – 0.59
1971 – 0.57
1981 – 0.59
1991 – 0.56
2011 – 0.72
We hope data makes it clear for all what is the reality and what is the propaganda run by Hindutva organizations.
If MotherTeresa wanted to convert people, the situation would have been different. No?
BJP senior Leader like Lal Krishna Advani, Brahmin Finance minister Arun Jaitley, Brahmin Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, and Upper Caste Health Minister J.P.Nadda all of them studied in Christian schools.
These Priests and Nuns sinned in educating the so-called upper castes in cities. This English medium trained Bhadralokas continued their Job to oppress Dalits, OBCs, Tribals, and Muslims. Because of these sins of Missionaries God became angry. Hence, their religion failed to increase. It would have been better that these Christian missionaries would have married and lived a family life and would have given birth to new generations.
Christians are not the Brahmins to do like the same what Brahmin did and are doing. They are not like Dronacharyas to teach only upper castes and not the others. Maybe it is a time to suggest them to be Dronacharyas!
If Christians really want to do service of humanity, they should stop educating Upper castes and rich corporate children. If they need your help, you can teach them in Sanskrit. Give English education to poor village children. Christian schools should stop teaching Upper Castes and should focus on giving education and helping lower castes. It would be a blessing. God will also be Happy.
Salute to Mother Teresa’s service though.
We finish with another quote from Mother Teresa –
If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other.
~~Adapted from Dilip C Mandal’s Facebook post, read it more likely as a combination of sarcasm and reality!
Wonderful write up 🙂
