We are the first to raise EVM tampering issue even before 2014 election results were out!

Bharat Mukti Morcha has filed a PIL in the Hon’ble Bombay High Court praying to implement VVPAT or Ballot Paper, but not EVM machines. Hence, the court said due to time constraints, they directed ECI to implement 100% VVPAT by 2018

Despite such directions, ECI did not take any action in favor of the directions or the earlier directions of the APEX court.
BAMCEF has filed a ‘Contempt’ petition in the Hon’ble Supreme Court and also challenging the EVM machines alone without a Voter Verifiable Paper Trail.

Just before the UP and four other state elections, we have filed an Interlocutory (for urgent hearing) in the Hon’ble Apex court to direct the ECI to either use VVPAT or Ballot Paper but the court opined that its for ECI to decide whether or not to use the EVM machines, hence has disposed our application with directions.

We wrote to almost all the political parties (through Public Interest NGO based in Hyderabad) including BSP Supremo Mayawati, SP state CM Mr. Akhilesh, Mr. Uddhav Thakre of Siv Sena etc., who had to fight near future elections, but no one reacted favorably!

Now the question Arises! who are responsible for alleged EVM tampering? Is it the ruling party alone or the silent opposition too? At least now, before its even more late, raise voice , join hands and save democracy!

EVMs are not just technically wrong, but Ethically, Morally and Legally wrong!

EVM’s cannot ‘recount’ the votes in case of a conflict… they can only ‘re-calculate’ the total votes in individual EVM machines. This is absolutely against our basic right to verify votes rightly casted or not!
