It is a story of glorious victory of few hundred untouchable soldiers over numerically superior Peshwas army in the battle of Koregaon, fought on 1st January, 1818. I had written on it almost a year back, you can read about it at 1st January, 1818 – The Battle of Bhima Koregaon.

पिछली बार जब डायरेक्टर संजय जायसवाल ने फ़िल्म शूद्रा द राइजिंग बनाया था तब मनुवादियों ने एक होकर उस फ़िल्म को सिनेमाहालो मल्टीप्लेक्सों में चलने नहीं दिया जिसकी वजह से उनको बहुत ज्यादा आर्थिक नुकशान उठाना पड़ा था।किन्तु उसी महान अम्बेडकरवादी ने दुबारा फ़िल्म 500 बनाने का हिम्मत दिखाया है।जिसमे 1जुलाई 1818 की सच्ची घटना को दिखाया गया है जिसमे मात्र 500 जांबाज महार सैनिको ने देखते ही देखते पेशवाओ (ब्राह्मणों)की 28 हजार सैनिको के विशाल सेना का संहार कर डाला और पूरी दुनिया के सामने अपने साहस और पराक्रम का अदभुत नायाब नमूना पेश किया और अपने ऊपर सदियो से हुए अत्याचार का बदला लिया।
इस प्रकार का पराक्रम पूरी दुनिया में कभी नहीं देखा गया था।
अगर इस फ़िल्म को भी मनुवादी दबाने में सफल होते है जैसे इस कोरे गांव विजय की घटना को छुपाने में सफल हो गए थे तो लानत है हमारी एकजुटता पर।सभी ग्रुप बंद करके अपने अपने घरो में आराम करो।और अपने निकम्मेपन का आनंद लो अन्यथा अगर दम है तो इस फ़िल्म की इतनी पब्लिसिटी करो की इसकी सफलता से मनुवादियों के होस उडा दे।उन्हें अपनी एक जुटता का परिचय दो।
ताकी एक डाइरेक्टर उत्साहित होके हमारे समाज के मुद्दों पर आगे भी नायाब फिल्में बना सके।
अन्यथा भजन कीर्तन वाले मनुवादी फिल्मो की क्या कमी है मार्केट में देखो और आनंद लो।

I was not knowing about this battle,becoz no weightage was given for this Historical milestone of india in our school/college days .Bravery of shudras can strongly advocates the great potential our country was/is having.But only caste system has drained our potential.I will watch this movie 10 times.
