22 Vows administered by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar
on 14th Oct. 1956 at
Diksha Bhoomi, Nagpur (India)
Dr B R Ambedkar
1. I shall not consider Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh as God nor shall I worship them.
2. I shall not consider Ram and Krishna as God nor shall I worship them.
3. I shall not believe in Gouri-Ganesh and other gods and goddesses of Hindu religion nor shall I worship them.
4. I don’t have faith incarnation of God.
5. I believe that, Buddha is an incarnation of Vishnu, is a false and malicious propaganda.
6. I shall not perform shraddha, nor shall I give pind-dan.
7. I shall not practice anything which is against and different from Buddha’s dhamma.
8. I will not perform any rituals to be performed by Brahmins.
9. I believe that all human beings are equal.
10. I shall make efforts to establish equality.
11. I shall follow the Eightfold path as told by the Buddha.
12. I shall practice ten Paramitas as told by the Buddha.
13. I shall have loving-kindness (mercy) for all living beings.
14. I shall not steal.
15. I shall not tell lies.
16. I shall not commit any sexual misconduct.
17. I shall not consume liquor.
18. I shall lead a life based on the principles of wisdom, virtue, and compassion.
19. I denounce Hindu religion which is Harmful for my development as a human being and which has treated human being unequal lowly and I accept Buddha’s Dhamma.
20. I am fully convinced that Buddha’s Dhamma is the only true religion.
21. I believe that I am taking a new birth.
22. I commit that henceforth I shall act as per Buddha’s teachings.

It is very good attempt to produce site regarding Dr.B.R. Ambedkar. If every moolniwasi get read Baba Saheb’s Lit. and follow his 22 Vows then it will not take much time to change the social system of present India. We can established the social system based on “SAMTA,SWETANTRTA,BANDHUTWA and NYAY”.i.e. Phule Ambedkari Samaj.

This is first time I am seeing this easy method of knowing Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar and their dream. This credit goes to u because despite of having all the facilities many people don’t do the work of society which ur doing.
And it will be useful to all the E-users to know the real history of India, which has been conceal by some people.Here, I would like to make one request to u that if u can comment on Arun shories book ” worshiping of false God” then tat will be great help to me and to other users as well.
what can I say about 22 vows which has been given by Babasaheb at Nagpur becoz I also don’t fallow all those vows.But I had tried to fulfill all but I could follow some of them. But soon I will be 100% follower and that is confidence.However, your work is great and I will be happy if I could do something for society and it will be my pleasure if I get chance to work with you.
