Atrocities against the Dalit or underprivileged communities are on the rise since BJP’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took charge. He has failed Dalits and minority communities.
On 8th June 2017, Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Azad Ravan was arrested by Uttar Pradesh police in connection with the violence in Saharanpur. Chandrashekhar Azad had denied any involvement in the violence.
So after unfairly arresting Bhim Army Chief Chandrashekhar Azad Ravan, the BJP run UP government wants to kill him in jail as per the reports from the Hindustan Times.
According to the reports, Bhim Army chief and founder Chandrashekhar Azad Ravan has been attacked in the jail along with another leader, Kamal Walia from Bhim Army. Kamal Walia is Bhim Army’s district unit president.
Information about the incident came into light when Kamal’s mother went to meet him in the Jail.
The mother of Bhim Army’s district unit president Kamal Walia said if innocent people of the Dalit outfit were attacked they would not sit silently.
After the information reached to the Bhim Army supporters, they protested against the administration and demanded that action be taken against the culprits.
They also submitted a memorandum to administrative officials on Thursday and demanded necessary action and an unbiased investigation into their charges.
Bhim Army is formed on the principle of educating Dalits and minority communities about their rights and fight against the oppression.
Yogi Adityanath government has falsely implicated members of Bhim Army and have thrown them in the jails while Thakurs those burnt Dalits’ homes are roaming free.
Bhim Army is a social organisation which runs more than 350 schools for the underprivileged children and Manuwadi people are not happy that Dalit and minority communities get educated and fight for their rights.
It is not the first time that in BJP ruled states innocent people have been put in the jails and the fake encounters have been carried out on government’s directions.
It seems like BJP/RSS government’s plan is to kill Bhim Army Chief Chandrashekhar Azad Ravan and others in the jail and suppress Dalits and minority communities.
The attack on Bhim Army Chief Chandrashekhar Azad Ravan and Kamal Walia is highly condemnable. There should be the proper investigation into the case and culprits should be punished severely.
